Wizz Air is a low-cost airline from Eastern Europe. The first flight took off on 19th May 2004 from Katowice. Today Wizz Air has 8 operating bases in the region: Katowice, Warsaw, Gdansk and Poznan in Poland, Budapest in Hungary, Sofia in Bulgaria and Bucharest and Cluj in Romania, offering flights to over 50 destinations.
